10 Ways to Use Lavender Essential Oil

Lavender is often called the "Swiss army knife" of essential oils because it has THOUSANDS of uses. Our ten favorites are shown above, but you may find that you have even more to add to our list!

Did you ever wonder why many lotions and other personal care items have a lavender scent? While almost all commercial skin and hair care products that smell like lavender now use artificial chemicals to mimic the smell given off by a pure lavender essential oil, originally unadulterated lavender oil was added to products for its ability to nourish our skin, scalp, and hair. (Of course, the pure oil also smells very pretty as well!) In addition to benefiting our skin, lavender is also very calming, relieving stress and promoting restorative sleep.

We sell a handful of essential oils at our clinic, and lavender will always be a staple! Smell it next time you're in and consider buying a bottle to support your body naturally.
